About The Role
You’ll create, implement, and test first-person animations for hands, weapons, equipment, and gameplay interactions. The work includes weapon handling, gear, drones, controllers, medical items, and other viewmodel interactions.
What You’ll Do
Create first-person animation sets for hands, weapons, and equipment.
Animate reloads, equips, unequips, checks, transitions, malfunctions, and item interactions.
Build movement-dependent, layered, and additive animation sets.
Animate interactions with drones, controllers, medical items, and launchers.
Implement and test animations in Unreal Engine 5.
Set up montages, notifies, curves, and gameplay events.
Refine timing, hand placement, camera movement, and readability.
Iterate based on gameplay and technical feedback.
What We’re Looking For
Strong portfolio showing first-person or weapon animation.
Solid understanding of animation principles.
Strong sense of timing, weight, posing, and mechanical movement.
Proficiency with Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or similar software.
Ability to work with existing rigs and animation pipelines.
Attention to hand placement and object interaction.
Willingness to test and refine animations in gameplay.
Nice to Have
Experience with Unreal Engine 5 animation workflows.
Knowledge of Animation Blueprints, montages, and notifies.
Rigging or technical animation skills.
Motion-capture cleanup experience.
Familiarity with weapons and military equipment.
Experience with Control Rig or procedural animation.
